Four people have been killed and at least eleven wounded in a shooting near a Christmas market in the eastern French city of Strasbourg.
In later reports the death toll rose from two to four.
The suspect has been named by Le Figaro as Chérif C, 29.
Police went to the suspect’s home earlier (on Tuesday) to arrest him, but he was not there. However, it is reported that “explosive materials” were found at the home.
And according to the Washington Compost, the suspect “was on a list of people suspected of radicalization”.
