Robots are projected to make 20 million manufacturing jobs obsolete by the year 2030. This is a subject that is not getting talked about enough.

Fox Business:

Robots could displace an estimated 20 million manufacturing Opens a New Window. jobs in the world by 2030, according to a report by Oxford Economics Opens a New Window. released this week. The number of robots in the world has tripled in the last two decades and trends show there will be even more of them made in the next 20 years.

Oxford Economic CEO Adrian Cooper wrote in the report’s forward that although the machinery is good for the economy, it will lead to tens of millions of people losing their jobs.

“The rise of the robots will boost productivity and economic growth. It will lead, too, to the creation of new jobs in yet-to-exist industries, in a process of ‘creative destruction,’” Cooper said. “But existing business models across many sectors will be seriously disrupted.”

“And tens of millions of existing jobs will be lost, with human workers displaced by robots at an increasing rate as robots become steadily more sophisticated,” he continued.

At least 20 million industrial robots are expected to be installed worldwide by 2030, approximately 14 million of which are predicted to be used in China. The report estimated that every new robot built and put in use will displace 1.6 manufacturing workers.

Over the next few decades, technology is definitely going to advance in ways that are going to transform and change our society. But as robots take jobs that humans used to do, what is the purpose of bringing in millions upon millions of people into our country? You are just setting the conditions for conflict and a societal collapse.

We are just told that we are racist and mean-spirited because we object to bringing in third world populations. But it just isn’t practical to do this. What are these people going to do when they get here? There won’t be any jobs for them and they’ll just cause chaos and commit crimes.

There should be a complete and total stop to immigration until we can figure out what the fuck is going on. These technological advances that are coming represent just another reason to do this.

You would think a retard could understand this concept but we have people in positions of political power who are either outright shills or are legitimately dumber than an actual retard. And that’s why they keep demanding trillions of foreigners be allowed into our country.

this is what i’ve been saying and why many hispanics already here don’t want open-borders. it will create competition and reduce wages.

i think that societal breakdown is part of the plan. then they can declare martial law and round up our guns et…

I remember seeing ads & articles in both business & popular science/technology magazines from the 1950’s predicting the same thing. There were even a few movies from that era made about the same subject. I’m in total agreement about the immigration issue. Most are here to perform manual labor & the rest are working in the hi-tech field. What pisses me off is the benefits (freebies) these 3rd world POS are receiving courtesy of the taxpayers. Passed a construction site the other day & a supervisor actually needed an interpreter! I really doubt a manufacturing revival in the FUSA at this time. Why bring all those jobs back from China & start over again? Then again, if the FUSA & its successor nation ever do, I’d prefer my car assembled by a robot over one of these 3rd world POS any day.

P.S. One of my favorite ads was a robot cutting the grass & trimming the hedges while the leisurely homeowner sat in a recliner reading his newspaper & sipping a cool drink. It was sponsored by Hughes Aircraft Co., circa 1958. Hughes actually had ads in several 1950’s popular magazines which predicted technological advancements that have actually materialized including flat screen TVs, cell phones & autopilot in passenger cars!
