Passengers on New York City’s subway system will now face $50 fines if they refuse to wear a mask.

Friday's @Newsday cover: New York State will begin issuing $50 fines to passengers of the LIRR and city subway and bus systems who refuse to wear a mask to prevent spread of the coronavirus, Gov. Cuomo and MTA leaders said. https://t.co/BIY6vhibhu pic.twitter.com/FOZEIyFGew

Why stop at $50? Why not make it $500? Or how about $5,000?

Since the goal of Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio is to make New York City as unlivable as possible, they need to issue higher fines. They should also mandate the use of goggles or gas masks instead of a simple piece of cloth in order to use the subway. After all, is a piece of cloth really stopping the spread of the coronavirus?

I have many other ideas that could help make the living experience in New York City an even greater hell than it already is. I’d be happy to negotiate an hourly rate with the New York state government to provide all the great ideas that I have.
