Despite the best efforts of John Bolton and Mike Pence, North Korea has signaled that they still want to hold peace talks. The President referenced this in one of his tweets earlier today.
He also made the following comments to the press about the situation.
Hopefully the summit goes forward. The entire world is supportive of peace talks. This thing would have still been on track had Bolton and Pence refrained from making insane comments about a Libyan option.
All we can do now is wait and see what happens from here on out. The good news is that Bolton’s attempt to sabotage the peace process may have failed. Trump really needs to get rid of him. It was a horrible idea to bring that Zionist war mongering asshole into the White House.
