The head of US Special Forces Command Pacific visited Bangladesh a few years ago. The visit was off the books. Bangladesh has a huge population inside Myanmar, trying to take a piece of that country. Now you have numerous insurgent groups fighting the state.
Obviously, the objective is to have a problem on China’s border, like they did with Ukraine-Russia and Taiwan-China.
These Bangladeshi folks are aggressive. They have already helped (with the Nepalese) at taking over the Motel business (Especially Wyndham).
They haven’t reached the cool Hotels yet. But if it’s three stories tall or under, it’s quite likely now run by Bangladeshis and/or Nepalese — who hire Mexicans to camp out there and fix the shitter if it overflows or an electric door lock if it jams:
