McConnell Introduces Bill to Avoid Government Shutdown

Well, it looks like a government shutdown is not going to happen. Mitch McConnell has put forth a bill to avoid a government shutdown that would fund the government until February. This also means no border wall funding. While there hasn’t been much comment from the White House about this, it appears as if they’re going to agree to kick the can down the road.

It would appear as if POTUS has at least for now given up on trying to get border wall funding from Congress. He seems confident that he can use funds appropriated to the military to build it.

Of course, I’ll believe it when I see it. Hopefully they can pull it off without some Jewish judge making up some bullshit.

I just don’t get why Republicans are afraid of shutting down the government. Trump and the rest of the GOP should not be afraid to shutdown the government in order to get border security. It’s not like the world will come to an end if the government shuts down.

It’s just tough seeing Trump getting anything done legislatively over the next two years. If he couldn’t get the border wall fully funded with Republicans controlling both chambers of Congress, he sure as hell isn’t going to get it done with the Democrats in control of the House.

If Trump can’t get more than this level of support from the Republican controlled Senate, then I don’t know what he can hope to accomplish.

He either builds that wall, or he can kiss his re-election chances goodbye. His number one campaign promise was a wall. Without a wall, his presidency is number two.

“In our Country, so much money has been poured down the drain, for so many years, but when it comes to Border Security and the Military, the Democrats fight to the death.”

Well Trump, if you stop approving billions to Israel every year, you would have plenty of money for the wall and other things. Here’s an idea, stop being a puppet to Israel and the jew lobbies and keep your promises to the Whites who put you in office.

A GoFundMe campaign titled “We The People Will Fund The Wall” has raised over $5 million and counting to build President Donald Trump’s border wall.

More than 84,414 people have pledged donations to the campaign created Sunday by a “fundraising team” in Miramar, Florida, according to the campaign page.

Its initial goal of $200 million has been bumped to $1 billion.

“It’s up to Americans to help out and pitch in to get this project rolling,” according to the campaign page, which is attributed to Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage Jr. On Sept. 11, 2004, Kolfage became the most severely wounded airman to survive any war in U.S. history, according to reports.

On Tuesday, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told Fox News the administration is exploring “different” sources to pay for his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexican border, according to reports.

“There are certainly a number of different funding sources that we’ve identified that we can use, that we can couple with money that would be given through congressional appropriations that would help us get to that $5 billion that the president needs in order to protect our border," Sanders said.

Trump has demanded $5 billion to pay for the border wall he promised to build during his campaign, according to reports. Lawmakers have until midnight Friday to pass a spending measure or shut down some federal agencies.

Kolfage, a staunch supporter of the Trump presidency, believes the crowdfunding campaign can reach its goal if everyone who voted for President Trump contributes.

“If the 63 million people who voted for Trump each pledge $80, we can build the wall,” Kolfage states on the GoFundMe page. “That equates to roughly $5 billion, even if we get half, that’s half the wall. We can do this.”

Trump just promised Mexico 10 billion… just withhold 5 billion of that for a wall…
