House Votes to Block Trump's Wall Emergency Declaration

The House just passed a resolution to block Trump’s wall emergency declaration. Democrats are claiming that Trump violated the Constitution and is acting like a dictator.

CBS:

The House of Representatives passed a resolution late Tuesday afternoon that would terminate President Trump’s national emergency proclamation, which is also being challenged in court by a multistate lawsuit.

The final vote of 245 to 182 fell largely along party lines, but 13 Republicans joined Democrats in supporting the measure.

The bill now goes to the Republican-controlled Senate, which must vote on the measure within 18 days. Mr. Trump has vowed to veto the resolution if it reaches his desk.

Introduced by Democrats last week, the measure would reverse the implementation of the president’s controversial proclamation, which he is relying on to unilaterally access $3.6 billion in military construction funds to build his long-promised wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

It is utterly insane for the Democrats to be bringing up the Constitution. These people are rabid Marxists who have done everything in their power to destroy the Constitution. Trump was well within his authority to declare the national emergency. Congress passed legislation giving the executive branch broad power to declare national emergencies back in the 1970s. The Democrats are just mad that it is being used to do something they dislike. They also had no problem when Barry Obama used his executive power unlawfully to let children of illegal aliens stay in the country. Barry himself admitted that what he was doing was against the Constitution. And how about when he bombed Libya? That was not in line with the Constitution. If he followed the Constitution he would have sought a declaration of war from Congress.

Ultimately though, none of this matters. Even if the measure passes the Senate, there’s not enough votes to override a presidential veto and Trump has already said that he’d veto any legislative measure meant to block his order.

The few Republicans who sided with the Democrats on this vote are retards. They claim that Trump shouldn’t exercise this power because a future Democrat President would have justification to use executive power on issues they dislike. Well guess what, Obama already did do that. Maybe not through a national emergency, but it was the same result. This is just an excuse to avoid fighting and standing up for something. It is this ridiculous thought process why so-called conservatives have conserved nothing and have been total and complete political failures.

Let’s review…

Congress doesn’t have the authority to override the president on declaring national emergencies

Executive Orders
In times of emergency, the President can override Congress and issue executive orders with almost limitless power.

  • U.S. Code: [Title 50, Chapter 34, Supchapter II, § 1621]Declaration of a National Emergency by President]

So Fuck you Pelosi …

Another option…

On a federal level, only the president has the power to impose Martial Law .
Article 1, section 9 of the Constitution states that:

The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.**

Sounds like the House of Representatives are the ones usurping power.

There is no news on this until the worrisome Roberts votes when the case hits SCOTUS.

Sink or swim Trumpster. We want some nationalism. Who knows what really want?

Trump has his “out” now - “Muh Democrats!” he will exclaim on the Twitters. He should have went full bore on The Wall and immigration in early 2017 when Mr Art Of The Deal had a lot of political clout. Now he will just nurse The Wall along until next year when the Dems run some crazed brown-skinned lesbian tranny Bolshevik and his base will don their MAGA gear and all will be forgiven - I’ve seen this show before. And if you though Trump’s 1st Term was a whole lot of nothin’, wait until his 2nd - he might even pull a Reagan and sign some illegal spic amnesty deals, tighten up gun laws and throw in a few wars for the Zionists, to boot.

Nothing the House or Senate does or even Trump’s veto of what Congress might pull really matters, this is going to be decided at SCOTUS with Roberts being the deciding vote.

Those thinking Ginsberg’s death would be the greatest SCOTUS develop don’t understand she’ll likely die very soon, but for the next 20 something coming years, Roberts’ will be fucking America.

Hmm, seems I said this already.
