Gab Officially Endorses Censorship

Gab CEO Andrew Torba officially endorsed censorship today. He even claimed that it is “based” to censor things he views as “evil.”

It is most definitely not “based” as Torba says.

Who decides what is “evil” and what isn’t? Torba? Who is he to decide? That’s why free speech is so important. Bad and evil ideas can be defeated with good ideas but only if there’s a free exchange of ideas. Censorship allows bad ideas and evil to fester and that is what will fester on Gab with such a policy.

Gab was allegedly built to let people “speak freely” and now the site’s CEO is publicly endorsing censorship. That’s the reality of the situation. Torba’s position is no different than the position we’ve seen pushed by the big Jewish social media sites. They like Torba have claimed that specific material had to be censored because they felt the material was objectionable.

You could also argue that Gab is worse than any other social media site because Gab is the only social media site charging people to post memes.

This image of Freak Speely pretty much sums up the situation does it not?

This is somewhat reminiscent of “All animals are equal” evolving into “all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.”

Is it TorBA … or TorbSTEIN?
THAT is the question.!

(this below ad doesn’t really have much to do with Torba—- it’s just a Hebrewized revisioning of a popular goyim film and icon).

Gab was always dull. Very little engagement and even less interesting or creative content.
