Gab Continues to be Unusable

Due to the hordes of MAGApedes and Q cultists coming over to Gab, I decided to give the site a second chance. After all, this is a good opportunity to enlighten some of these people on the problem we have with all these Jews. Unfortunately, the site continues to be unusable.

If you are lucky enough to access the site, it is still pretty much impossible to login, view or post anything.

Maybe if Gab’s CEO Andrew Torba was spending more time working with his team on ramping up infrastructure instead of doing interviews and bragging about how he made the local Scranton newspaper, the site would be in better shape. Because right now he doesn’t even have a functional website. Why he thinks doing interviews is more important than focusing on expanding his infrastructure is beyond comprehension. What good is promoting Gab if nobody can access it?

Seriously, this has been a fairly significant failure. He has shown that the site is not ready for prime time. It can’t be considered a serious Twitter alternative when it has been mostly unusable since the mass bans happened.

If Gab somehow gets their act together and is able to figure out a way to handle the traffic load, they’ll likely face a ban of their security services and then a domain seizure.

I am not as optimistic on the prospect of alternative social media sites as other people are. Obviously, I hope I’m wrong, but I’m afraid we are in for some dark days ahead. There is a very powerful system in place that is currently trying to eliminate free speech on the Internet and right now they’re doing a pretty good job at silencing people.

People communicated for millennia without big tech. It is a myopic view but with what else are we left?

I assume this is precisely why we see a halting of oublic gatherings with massive censorship.

Gab banned Weev, StorminNorman (regular poster at DS) and I’ve heard of others.

They’re not as “free speech” as they pretend to be.

I was actually on Gab at the very moment that weev was banned and I called out Torba for it. They are definitely not a true free speech platform. They just allow for more speech than Twitter.

That place has been and always will be a 3rd rate shithole running streetshitter code, Turbo is a grifter, nothing more.
We’ve been warning these fucking retards since 2013, as far as I’m concerned they can get what they fucking deserve.

Ha ha… I almost forgot about that. The original CTO was an Indian and he got really mad at us making fun of his shitty coding skills.

Yes, so far. They haven’t banned David Duke. He is all over that site.

Be interesting to see how far that goes.

Yeah, we’ll see what happens. Torba is not a very trustworthy or competent figure. He’s continuing to do interviews and shit post crap on his feed while the site is barely operational. Plus his previous banning of people along with his statements about working with law enforcement raise some questions.

I am somewhat ambivalent. I want to like Gab, but I have the same reservations as those already expressed here.

Yeah it isn’t a great site and who knows how long they’ll be able to keep it running. Looks like they finally fixed the problems and it is usable again.
