FISA Bill Vastly Broadens Government Spying Powers

The FISA bill that will reauthorize already broad government spying powers will significantly broaden those powers.

Buried deep in the FISA Section 702 re-authorization bill is absolutely shocking language exponentially broadening the US government's ability to spy on Americans without a warrant.

I have no time or energy to go into the particulars of this but suffice to say that the Constitution and Fourth Amendment protections have been dead for a long time. We are roughly a decade removed from the stuff Edward Snowden leaked to the media about government surveillance of the tubes. Even before Snowden, it was well-known that the government was spying on people’s phone conversations, email, social media posts etc.. That data is also sent to our greatest enemy Israel.

This whole system is an absolute and total tyranny. The people in power do whatever the hell they want regardless of the Constitution, laws etc.. and all of this is selectively enforced depending upon your politics.
