The whole border situation has become a total cluster fuck. The Border Patrol in the El Paso area is redeploying agents to process the deluge of taco invaders coming in.
U.S. Border Patrol checkpoints in the El Paso Sector, which includes West Texas and all of New Mexico, have temporarily been shut down because of a large influx of migrants claiming asylum at the border.
The permanent highway checkpoints are part of the Border Patrol’s immigration and smuggling enforcement system in the border region.
The closures will allow more agents to help process the large number of migrants crossing ports of entry and illegally crossing in desert areas, officials said.
The closures include the Interstate 10 checkpoint between Las Cruces and Deming, New Mexico, officials said.
We have a situation where all of these Central American invaders are coming in, requesting asylum, are temporarily detained and then released into the country. All this talk about ending “catch and release” has been bullshit. Nothing has been done to stop this idiocy.
Homeland Security should at minimum be refusing entry to all of these illegal aliens and sending them back where they came from. Ideally, they should be shot dead for trying to enter the country illegally. It seems to be a pretty good formula that works for Israel so I’m confident that it can work for the United States.
But none of this is happening. It’s just business as usual. Trump has failed on the border and unless there’s a drastic change, it looks like he’s just content to keep failing on the border.
