A CPAC official connected to the American Conservative Union named Ian Walters said that the only reason Michael Steele was put in charge of the Republican National Committee was because he was Black.

Washington Examiner:

Former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele expressed shock after the communications director for the Conservative Political Action Conference said he was only elected to lead the party because of his race.

“We elected Mike Steele as chairman because he was a black guy, that was the wrong thing to do,” Ian Walters told hundreds of conservatives during the Ronald Reagan dinner Friday night.

Yeah, so people are freaking out about this because it isn't politically correct. What's funny is that Walters looks like some weird cross between an Indian and a Mexican. I'm not exactly sure what his racial background is to be honest. But whatever the case, there is nothing inaccurate about his statement. Steele was absolutely brought on board to run the RNC because he was Black so the Republicans could prove that they weren't racist. This was at the cultural height of baby boomer insanity which resulted in the disaster known as the Barry Soetoro regime.

It is wrong to hire anybody based solely on the color of their skin instead of the merit of what they can do. Affirmative action needs to be abolished. It has allowed women and racial minorities to obtain jobs that they have no business obtaining. The end result has been extremely problematic for our society.

Wow, just wow…imagine that guy having the nerve to say out loud what everybody else was thinking. I mean like, what is this, Nazi Germany, or something?

That’s just embarrassing. Imagine waking up every day and going to work knowing you are a pity hire. Running a committee is like being a hall monitor, the highest visibility with the lowest responsibility.

@discustard The coloreds don’t feel any sense of shame or embarrasment if they are hired to be the token negro. Those are White folks’ emotions. What they feel is an arrogant sense of entitlement.
