Alex Jones decided to crash the Congressional hearings on social media censorship today. Even though he acted a bit nuts at times, he did a fairly good job raising a fuss about the problems with these companies. As most of you know, these companies colluded to ban him from nearly every major social media platform.
He even confronted Marco Rubio in what was a pretty funny encounter. You could tell Rubio had no idea how to deal with Jones and pretended like he didn’t know who he was.
There were other characters from the Alt-Lite present as well. The Jew Laura Loomer disrupted one of the hearings accusing social media companies of interfering in the upcoming election.
Overall though, the hearings were a bunch of boring bullshit. It was nothing but a pathetic dog and pony show. You had Twitter Chief Executive Officer Jack Dorsey and the Jew Chief Operating Officer of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg giving all sorts of mundane and non specific answers to questions. It was basically just them using industry buzzwords to claim that they aren’t perfect and will try to improve.
It’s also worth noting that Google was invited but they declined to send a representative.
But the main problem which was never satisfactorily addressed is how they decide based on arbitrary standards to censor content.
The government needs to step in and regulate these companies. The fact that these tech monopolies can unilaterally ban people from what is the modern day public square is insane. This in of itself is far more of a threat to “democracy” than anything Russia is doing.
