The Turks are saying that they have audio and video recordings proving conclusively that Jamal Khashoggi a Saudi journalist working for the Washington Post was killed Pulp Fiction style.

CT Post:

The Turkish government has told U.S. officials that it has audio and video recordings that prove Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul this month, according to U.S. and Turkish officials.

The recordings show that a Saudi security team detained Khashoggi in the consulate after he walked in on Oct. 2 to obtain an official document before his upcoming wedding, then killed him and dismembered his body, the officials said.

The audio recording in particular provides some of the most persuasive and gruesome evidence that the Saudi team is responsible for Khashoggi's death, the officials said.

"The voice recording from inside the embassy lays out what happened to Jamal after he entered," said one person with knowledge of the recording who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss highly sensitive intelligence.

"You can hear his voice and the voices of men speaking Arabic," this person said. "You can hear how he was interrogated, tortured and then murdered."

This is not looking good for the Saudis. The situation itself is so insane that it is hard to comprehend. If they really felt the need to kill this guy, there were numerous other ways they could have done it. Disappearing the dude inside your own consulate was by far the worst possible way to handle this.

One thing that is worth noting is that this presumably dead journalist was related to a few prominent individuals.

He was the nephew of Adnan Khashoggi a prominent arms dealer who had all sorts of links to the CIA. He was wrapped up in the Iran-Contra affair during the 1980s.

He was also the cousin of Dodi Fayed who died with Princess Diana in a Paris car crash back in the 1990s.

These are strange family connections. While we don’t know 100 percent, they indicate that he might have possibly been some type of Saudi intelligence asset who went rogue. Lots of spooks work undercover as journalists because it’s bad public relations to detain or murder journalists. What’s happening to the Saudi government right now is proof of that.

Regardless of what specifically happened, the Saudis are going to pay a big price on the international stage for this. They handled this in the sloppiest manner possible. You can’t just kill someone Pulp Fiction style in your own consulate and expect to get away with it. Especially someone who has some level of prominence and contacts within mainstream media circles.

why the hell was he such a fool. he KNEW that they wanted him dead and voiced this concern but he walks alone into their embassy?

it’s hypocritical that the fake news cares not about the Saudis murdering civilians in Yemen but whack one fat Arab journalist and they go nuts. and then there’s the huggy-kissy relationship between the Saudis and jews which isn’t reported either. and to top it off, The Saudis were obviously involved in 9/11 along with Israel and BushCo. so expect NOT the evil USA to condemn them for torture-killing one fat guy.
