Russia Says US Drone Violated Iranian Airspace

Russia has come out saying that they have evidence the US drone that Iran shot down did in fact violate Iranian airspace.

The Sun:

RUSSIA claims to have military intelligence proving that the US drone shot down by Iran was in the the country’s airspace when it was struck.

Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of Russia’s Security Council, told journalists in Jerusalem that evidence presented by the Trump administration blaming the Islamic Republic for attacks on ships in the Gulf of Oman was poor quality and unprofessional.

The Russians have proven to be a more credible and reliable teller of factual information than the bullshit we continuously hear from the United States government. But even if you don’t believe the Russians, just flying a drone close to Iranian airspace is itself a provocative act. What other purpose is there to flying a military aircraft that close to Iranian territory? They probably wanted the Iranians to shoot it down so they could use the incident to further the war narrative.

This shows that the Russians are publicly supporting the Iranians as their geopolitical ally. Any invasion of Iran would effectively be a proxy war against Russia.
