Few notable advances and a $1,000 price tag for the iPhone X are the big reasons why this product is not selling well.
The iPhone X is not doing nearly as well as Apple had hoped. They've even been forced to slash their sales forecast.
This is not shocking in the least. It is an overpriced product that has few if any new features that people really need or want.
Reuters:
Shares in Apple Inc (AAPL.O) and several of its Asian suppliers fell on Tuesday after a report by Taiwan’s Economic Daily and comments from some analysts suggested iPhone X demand could come in below expectations in the first quarter.
Apple will slash its sales forecast for the iPhone X in the quarter to 30 million units, the newspaper said on Monday, citing unidentified sources, down from what it said was an initial plan of 50 million units.
Apple has not publicly disclosed quarterly sales targets for the iPhone X, which went on sale in November at a base price of $999 in the United States. An Apple spokeswoman said the company does not comment on market rumors.
Smartphone technology has become commodity in nature. Apple has finally hit a wall with their smartphone shilling. $1,000 for the iPhone X is ridiculous. They’ve tried to force it on people through marketing and hype. This has not worked.
Apple is also being sued for their role in a conspiracy to slow down the performance of older phones. This was done in order to get people to upgrade to a new phone.
I’ve never really been a big fan of Apple’s products but I’m even less of a fan now. Sure, when Steve Jobs was still around they put out innovative products and made various technological advances. There really is no denying this.
Unfortunately, the company has gone down hill with this faggot Tim Cook who is running things now. This clown thinks he can keep the company going by selling infinite amounts of phones. There is little innovation coming out of Apple now.
