New Bills Proposed to End Per Country Green Card Limits

Talk about something that I definitely did not want to see. New bills proposed in Congress which are apparently being backed by both Republicans and Democrats aim to end per country green card limits. What this means is that we’ll be flooded with an army of Indian IT workers for the benefit of Silicon Valley.

Business Today:

Powerful lawmakers in the US House of Representatives and the Senate have introduced identical legislations, which if passed would end per-country green card limit and benefit hundreds and thousands of Indian professionals waiting to gain permanent legal residency in the country. Top companies from the Silicon Valley like Google and corporate bodies such as US Chambers of Commerce are backing the legislations. If passed by Congress and signed into law, the legislations would benefit hundreds and thousands of Indian professionals on H-1B visas whose current wait time for permanent legal residency is more than a decade.

The H-1B visa, most sought-after among Indian IT professionals, is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to employ foreign workers in speciality occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise. Having a Green Card (officially known as a Permanent Resident Card) allows a person to live and work permanently in the United States. According to some recent studies, some categories of those Indian professionals face a wait of 151 years under the current system which imposes a country cap on people who get green card. The United States makes currently 140,000 green cards available every year to employment-based immigrants, including many who first come here on temporary H-1B or L visas.

The existing law, however, provides that not more than seven per cent of these green cards can go to nationals of any one country even though some countries are more populous than others. Because of this seven per cent limit, for example, a Chinese or Indian post-graduate may have to wait half a decade or more for a green card, much longer than a student from a less-populated country.

In the Senate, Republican Mike Lee and Democratic presidential aspirant Kamala Harris introduced the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act Wednesday, a bill that would remove per-country caps for employment-based green cards. “Ours is a nation of immigrants, and our strength has always come from our diversity and our unity,” Harris said.

Don’t these people get tired of falsely claiming that “diversity is a strength?” It is obviously not a strength and it doesn’t matter how many times they repeat this bullshit.

This is also not a merit-based policy. Indian IT workers are horrible and everybody hates dealing with them. It sucks when you call tech support for something and have to talk to one of these fuckers. You can’t understand a damn thing they say and they’re a pain in the ass to work with. The amount of productivity that is lost because of this is incalculable. There should be common sense laws passed banning these street shitters from working in IT fields of all kinds.

Silicon Valley needs to be forced to hire Americans. If they’re allowed to hire these street shitters it will only further depress wages for American IT workers. Plus, all these Silicon Valley companies have conspired to silence and censor Donald Trump’s supporters on social media. Trump should be pushing an aggressive agenda against these companies, not giving them what they want.

What’s disturbing is that we keep hearing this rhetoric from the Republicans about how they’re for immigration but just legal immigration. At this point, we should eliminate all immigration both illegal and legal before the demographic trends of this country become impossible to reverse. The entire H1B visa program should be abolished. But will any of this happen? Highly doubtful because that would be declared racist and you’d be declared a very bad person for proposing such a thing.

Trump tweeted on Fri that a “path to citizenship” is potentially possible for H1B street-shitters so he is in lockstep with Congressional and Silicon Valley scum.

too bad those coal miners didn’t learn to code…

this is Trump’s “merit based” immigration so he has to support it.

the good thing about the Indians is that they hate the muslims and the good thing about the muslims is that they hate the jews.
