Major Electrical Blackout Hits Venezuela

Venezuela’s capital city Caracas has had an electrical blackout for three straight days. Power outages have been impacting the whole country. Even though electrical problems are common in third world countries, the length of this particular blackout seems highly suspicious considering the current political landscape.

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido on Saturday called on citizens nationwide to travel to the capital Caracas for a protest against socialist President Nicolas Maduro, as the country’s worst blackout in decades dragged on for a third day.

Addressing supporters while standing atop a bridge in Caracas, Guaido – the leader of the opposition-run congress who invoked the constitution to assume an interim presidency in January – said Maduro’s government “has no way to solve the electricity crisis that they themselves created.”

“All of Venezuela, to Caracas!” Guaido yelled while standing atop a bridge in southwestern Caracas, without saying when the planned protest would be held. “The days ahead will be difficult, thanks to the regime.”

Activists had scuffled with police and troops ahead of the rally, meant to pressure Maduro amid the blackout, which the governing Socialist Party called an act of U.S.-sponsored sabotage but opposition critics derided as the result of two decades of mismanagement and corruption.

It would not surprise me in the least if this was an act of sabotage by the CIA or something along those lines. The usual suspects are using the electrical outage to score political points against Nicolas Maduro and to prop up the opposition.

How do you get a 36 hour nationwide power outage like what happened in #Venezuela? You buy the “loyalty” of corrupt military officials by giving them control over electricity company. Instead of investing in maintenance, they steal the money.

The worst electricity & telecommunications blackout in #Venezuela history’s going on 48 hours.

A blackout caused by #MaduroRegime negligence. A load rejection issue knocked out the Guri-Malena transmission line & led to multiple transformer explosions.

Today another transformer explosion at the German Dam in Bolivar State caused another massive blackout.

The result? Critically ill patients have died, the #Caracas metro remains out of service & few if any flights have arrived at or departed from Caracas in over 20 hours.

Meanwhile the secret police of the #MaduroRegime detained an engineer from the power company.

A few hours later that engineer was found dead.

The power outage and the devastation hurting ordinary Venezuelans is not because of the USA. It’s not because of Colombia. It’s not Ecuador or Brazil, Europe or anywhere else. Power shortages and starvation are the result of the Maduro regime’s incompetence.

Maduro’s policies bring nothing but darkness.

— Secretary Pompeo (@SecPompeo) March 8, 2019

No food. No medicine. Now, no power. Next, no Maduro.

These clowns are really enthusiastic about the prospect of removing the leader of a foreign government. In fact, they’re down right giddy at this electrical outage causing political harm to Maduro. Marco Rubio’s Twitter feed continues to be Scarface-tier.

But I personally couldn’t give a fuck what happens in Venezuela nor do I care who runs it. What I don’t want is the United States tipping the scales to determine who runs it. Of course, that matter has obviously been decided a long time ago and the policy of changing its government has already been put in motion.

Pompeo has already put the evil neocon kike Elliott Abrams in charge of this project.

If their bag of dirty tricks is not able to remove Maduro, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Jewish media will demand Donald Trump conduct a military invasion. They will demand it in the name of human rights and other stupid horse shit.

He can’t get a wall built on southwest border to provide security for the American people that elected him but he has plenty of time to destabilize an oil rich country for his neocon masters?

When I first read about this event I just figured that a loris crawled into a transformer.

But, yeah, they’re definitely doing that.
