Both Nietzsche and the Spartans resonate with me. I don’t believe in angels.
I would like to think Angels exist(I am agnostic but Christianity, especially Orthodoxy appeals to me) but I seem to be this Nietzschean Athens with large mixtures of Thebes and Sparta
There is an old saying, the believer is happy but the doubter is wise.
Well I mean I think Christianity has helped stability in the West and help curtail foreign invasion (the first time Islam tried to invade Europe,it failed because Europe united under the cross)
then gain the average IQ of a Muslim is 80
There are many positive aspects of traditional Christianity, but the modern churches would be unrecognizable to the great men of the past who fought for Church and State at such a high cost.
