It is looking more and more likely that this coronavirus hysteria is going to result in the end of the European Union.

I've been saying since the beginning: the EU's response to #coronavirus has been dire, completely exposing the bloc's pointlessness

In future, we need less, not more EU!

They’re burning EU flags in Italy.

People all over Italy are burning EU flags while playing the Italian anthem and posting videos of it with the hashtag #cisalviamodasoli which translates to 'we save ourselves'

Jews are freaking out over Hungary’s leader Viktor Orban using the chaos to consolidate political power.

And there it is. The European Union's first dictatorship. None of these powers is needed to fight the virus. But they will help distract and deter opposition, especially when it becomes clear that the government has no better plan. https://t.co/ugzumrvRR9

Hungarian PM Viktor Orban's new state of emergency suspends elections indefinitely–until parliament, which his party controls, agrees to allow them. Will the European Union keep subsidizing this emerging permanent dictatorship? https://t.co/toJYpeWcRM pic.twitter.com/qrMjInKu62

Of course, there were already all sorts of problems with the EU prior to the outbreak of this global doomsday virus. The Brexit situation and the mass flood of third world hordes certainly didn’t help matters. This just pushed things over the edge.

Ultimately the EU was a worthless political body that did not represent the interests of individual countries and peoples. It will be good to see it go away. The sooner the better.

If the EU dissolves the pre-1914 borders should be put back in place.

Except for re-merging Austria and Hungary.

Blending the Kalergi plan with a model based on the US federal government was never a good idea, to put it very mildly.
