Joe Biden has said that he wants to give Donald Trump advice on how to deal with the coronavirus.
Former Vice President Joe Biden is offering to call President Trump and talk about how to best deal with the coronavirus outbreak.
The Democratic presidential front-runner has been critical of the Trump administration’s handling of the pandemic through statements and virtual press conferences.
The potential correspondence was first reported by Fox News; a Biden campaign aide later confirmed the former vice president’s willingness to talk with Trump to The Hill.
“Vice President Biden has been extending his advice for months, and he did so again on the air last night. As he has said repeatedly, Donald Trump is not accountable for coronavirus itself — but he is accountable for the federal government’s slow and chaotic response to this outbreak,” Biden’s deputy campaign manager, Kate Bedingfield, said in a statement.
Biden can’t even make it through softball interviews with friendly Jewish media outlets without making all sorts of weird and incoherent statements. Yet he somehow thinks he’s qualified to give advice to the President of the United States on a pandemic.
When this whole fiasco was getting underway, Biden was accusing Trump of being a racist and a xenophobe for talking about banning travel from China. If Trump wasn’t afraid of being called a racist by people like Biden, it is possible that he could have implemented the necessary travel bans to better circumvent any issues with this doomsday virus.
Either way, Biden offering advice on this is just comical. He’s a senile old man and doesn’t even know where he is half the time. And even crazier is the fact that there’s still a chance that he could be the next president.
