Racism is Mainstream Politics in Central Europe

To anybody who has been demoralized with some of the chicanery and stupidity going on in the movement as of late, please be sure to check out this story.

AP:

The Croatian president thanks Argentina for taking in notorious pro-Nazi war criminals after World War II. In Bulgaria, a top politician calls the country's Roma minority "ferocious humanoids." And Hungary's prime minister declares the "color" of Europeans should not mix with that of Africans or Arabs.

Ever since WWII, such views were taboo in Europe, confined to the far-right fringes. Today they are openly expressed by mainstream political leaders in parts of Central and Eastern Europe, part of a populist surge in the face of globalization and mass migration.

"There is something broader going on in the region which has produced a patriotic, nativist, conservative discourse through which far-right ideas managed to become mainstream," said Tom Junes, a historian with the Human and Social Studies Foundation in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Populism and politics associated with racial identity is growing throughout Central Europe. The recent election results in Italy showed populist and nationalist oriented parties outside of the establishment winning a majority of the vote.

We need to continue doing what we’ve been doing and stay the course. I don’t give a shit what anybody says, we are having an impact around the world. If we weren’t being effective, we would not have powerful organizations trying to shut us down. We’ve been responsible for igniting populism and nationalism throughout Europe and this type of politics is only going to become more popular so long as all this Jewish multicultural nonsense is crammed down our throats.

This is very good news. I firmly believe we are having an impact; look how much has changed in a few short years. We must move forward, put aside petty differences, and return to our ethical, cultural, and historic roots as the people of Eastern Europe are doing. I am also very happy to see Italy rising again.

Western Europe has been in racial and cultural decline since the end of WWI. But Eastern Europe has always had a strongly nationalistic awareness, even during the darkest of its Iron Curtain days. Even Comrade Stalin preached “socialism in one country” as opposed to the international socialism of Lenin and Trotsky. The former DDR, where much of Germany’s best cultural elements have always been found, will also be spared from the unhappy fate that awaits the former West Germany.
