I think he does have a "Nationalist" world-view and some of his appointments speak to that. But he's a Zionist as well.
While the Jewish left have attacked him without mercy, the right have quietly courted him. Jews are not (always) a monolithic entity.
His ties to Neocon lunatics like John Bolton are troubling. It was not that long ago that Bolton was calling for Iran to be bombed. Where does that leave us?

So we'll see how long it takes before America's national interests are placed into conflict with that of a certain other "sh!tty little country." It takes little imagination to see how it can all go wrong.
I do agree with you on one thing, though: You've got to be slick to be elected. Duke and his KKK associations took 3% of the vote and Trump smashed it out of the ball-park. His tactics to appeal to the "silent majority" are certainly something to learn from.
