Question re. Tesla (and other) electric vehicles

Ok,this just occurred to me,after reading a blurb about a Tesla car crashing and OMGIcan’teven catching on fire like it was another shoah.

I don’t know enough about Tesla vehicles to discuss them intelligently. And for the record,I strongly suspect Elon Musk is a tax farming scam artist, although I could very well be wrong.

But Musk or no Musk,it’s starting to look like electric vehicles are A Thing, and here to stay. Which got me to thinking-

If electric vehicles are here and not going away, then inevitably, there will be crashes involving electric vehicles. Is there anything being done to educate and train EMT’s,fire department types, and cops-not to mention the general public which includes us evil national socialists-about the hazards of dealing with a crashed electric vehicle?

What I’m getting at is that if I see a crashed F150,I know roughly what I’m looking at. And I can see-or smell- fuel from a crushed gas or diesel tank, leaking antifreeze, etc.

But I suspect an electric vehicle is a whole other ball of wax. The battery bank has to be storing a yuge batch of potential energy if that car can hit 100mph. But how am I do deal with that safely while trying to help out while the ambulance gets there? And what kinds of substances are in that-possibly ruptured-battery? Anything that might dissolve my fingers off if I grab wrong by accident,or make my lungs solid if I breathe it in?

Where do we go to find this info, and should we print it out as flyers for PSA’s the book clubs can hand out? Because sooner or later, one of us is going to need to know this stuff.

edit:thanks in advance for reading, and for any input.
